Design & consultancy
Garendon leads concept development, layout, frame sizing, materials selection, opening positions and load paths. We bring buildability and inspection into the design before the package is released for production.
We work with clients that have an established design team and those that need design support. The project scope sets design responsibility, technical approvals and the drawing review route before work starts.
Manufacturing
The approved drawing pack is converted into finished steel under one controlled manufacturing plan. Garendon coordinates technical queries, programme and project requirements across materials, preparation, welding, finishing and the records required for the project file.
Welding and production controls follow the agreed scope. Where EN 1090 applies, we confirm the execution requirements, production route and inspection records before manufacture. The project specification sets visual inspection and any non-destructive testing.
Industrial coatings
Garendon sets the coating requirement around the service environment and project specification. The manufacturing package covers surface preparation, application and inspection as one controlled system, including ISO 12944 C5 where required.
The project file records the coating system and any specified dry-film thickness or adhesion checks.
Project & quality management
Garendon manages the project from quotation through handover and remains the client's point of contact. We coordinate programme, material procurement, document control, technical changes and progress reporting.
Production progress and manufacturing records feed directly into the project file. Garendon assembles material certificates, welding records, NDT reports and coating records into the controlled handover pack.
For multi-unit programmes, Garendon aligns the build sequence, inspection hold points, production and shipping windows to the agreed programme.
Requirements agreed before manufacture.
BSI has certified Garendon Engineering to ISO 9001. We set the standards, qualifications, inspections and document requirements at quotation, and the manufacturing team works to the approved package and production route required for that scope. We can supply the certification evidence and project-specific qualification route during prequalification.
