Enclosures and housings for hydrogen plant.
Ventilation, materials and access decisions drive the structure, not the other way round. Hydrogen projects ask the steel to support the safety scheme, not work against it.
What we provide
Structural housings and enclosures for electrolysers, compressors, storage skids and ancillary equipment. Frame design and material selection are made in conjunction with the process and safety scheme. Ventilation openings, escape routes and equipment access are designed in from the start.
Coating systems are matched to the service environment. Where specialist requirements apply we work to the client's nominated specification.

Common questions
How do you handle hazardous area requirements for hydrogen enclosures?
Hydrogen housings are developed around the customer's hazardous-area classification, ventilation strategy and gas-detection requirements. The structure, openings and material choices follow the project safety brief.
What standards apply to fabricated hydrogen enclosures?
Where EN 1090 applies, the required execution class and certified manufacturing route are agreed before manufacture. Coating requirements can be specified to ISO 12944 for the installation environment.
Can the housing be designed for ventilation and access?
Yes. Natural or forced ventilation, access doors and serviceable panels are engineered into the housing so the plant inside can be operated and maintained safely.
